yeah...i may be missin it but i still dont get it...the way i took it is that the flash we had today was of present-day with Jack and Kate...are you saying THAT was actually a flash back and that what we're seeing on the island is a "flash-further-back"? i dunno, maybe im overthinking it

well, unless Jack is a big liar in the future (or in the now) something is wrong with that whole flash forward, now reality. Jack keeps talking about his dad like he is still alive. Alternate future? what did Jack say? bring my dad down here and if I'm nore drunk than him you can fire me?? and he also had his dad's prescription pad? wouldn't that had been long gone and then the lady wanting to call his dad's office? something very fishy going on?
