heartburn...

i have been having the worst heartburn ever lately, and seemingly nothing helps. zantac, prilosec, rolaids, tums...nothing works. it's so bad it makes me feel like i'm gonna puke, and i can almost never sleep.

anybody know of anything that helps it? or what causes it in the first place?

Prilosec or Zantac would probably be best for it, but guess not for you lol. Cant think of anything else man. Spicey food usually gets me.

NSSB could be right, look it up and see if you have any other symptoms.

yeah that does sound like that could be it..what a bummer.

i used to have it really bad awhile back, then i moved to louisville and it just went away. since i've been back here, it has came back though lol. that's the only reason i'm not sure if that is what is wrong..

Try a prescription for omeprazole or Nexium. Be sure to take the medicine 30 minutes to an hour before eating.

Thought mine was heartburn until they ran an EKG on me and said I was having a major heart attack. Seriously, though, it is probably a hiatal hernia and it can be treated.

Sounds like If It Is keeping you up and It Is making you sick like that You need to have more test done.Could be that the acid from the heartburn might have damaged your esophagus pretty bad..And yes It could be other things too..But need to talk to your doc and get that taken care of especially If the meds are not helping..Prevacid always worked for me...

You don't wotk underground do you? The low heights of some seams, constantly cramming any extra weight (I'm talking 10 lbs, if you have a job where you have to move around) back into your stomach will kill your stomach. And if you have the "gerd" or whatever, sometimes it takes a while to heal, even after the meds. If you can get one, see a good doctor.
