Please post your reviews on any item american girl has/currently offer/s/ed. This includes Marisol, all historicals, all furniture, all clothes, Bath and body works stuff, etc.

Marisol's spotlight stage- The stage, although very cute, doesn't have a very bright light. The sounds are kinda fake-ish. Very easy to put together. I read the instructions and the lights that shine on her are NOT NOT NOT NOT replaceable! So when they burn out, you're out of luck!
I am not sure I would reccomend. A little girl might burn out the lights and then it's over. A collector might think it is on the cheaper side of american girl items. Cute though.

Marisol's spotlight outfit- WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!!! this DID NOT fit my marisol!! THe skirt kept falling off. The shoes didn't fit! THe stupid leotard wouldn't go past her shoulders. AG needs to learn how to MEASURE CORRECTLY!! GRRRRRR this outfit stinks!!

Marisol's tap outfit- CUTE AS HECK! I haven't opened the package for the cane of the hat as I am afraid the glitter will go everywhere, but I am not really sure if it will. I am being cautious! I think I would reccomend.

AGT wheelchair- The color of it is light paisley-lavender-light bluish. Beautfiul! The back of the seat fabric is removable, but when it is on it appears to be "too big", but is perfect when a doll is in it. Great for girls. Also nice for collectors! I expected metal but it is plastic. It's ok.

Brush- YOU MUST HAVE THIS> EXCELLENT QUALITY!!

3-in-1 beach set- The swimsuit fits VERY tightly. The cover-up is so cute!! Target has a white/pink cover-up that looks exactly like it w/o the embroidery!
The hoodie and skirt are nice also. THe hair clip is good, the glasses are cute, the anklet is adorable! would reccomend!!

Thanks for the reviews. I have some of the Marisol stuff stashed away for the holidays. Maybe I will have to bring them out and check them before deciding to keep them! Thanks again!

Thanks for the reviews: the spotlight stage and the spotlight outfit are the only two Marisol items I am missing, and I really don't want to spend the money right now, so I am trying to convince myself it is no big deal if I don't get them. I have heard similar things about the spotlight outfit being a tight fit, although most of the reviews I have read have been very complimentary of the fabric and styling of the outfit.
I also wanted to mention that the glitter on the tap outfit hat and cane came up as a topic in the past. Someone who had theirs out and was actively using those items said that they weren't dropping any glitter at all [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img] . Hopefully they are all made so well - mine is still in storage.

Kit's Hobo Outfit: Overalls are flexible and fit even thicker dolls well. The buckles work and there is velcro on the sides to make them easier to put on. The hat is adorable and fits right on. The shirt has velcro up the front under the button placket. I highly recommend this outfit!

Josefina's Weaving Outfit: The top is very nice and very well-made. The skirt sticks out a little in the middle where the seam/ribbon is. I am not sure if an iron would help this. The rebozo is regular thin cotton, not thicker like the meet rebozo. The sash is firmer than the other sashes. Overall, I would recommend it.

Addy's Kite Flying Outfit: The material for the dress is very thin. When I put it on a PM doll, the shoulders were very tight. The dress does not seem long enough to me either. The kite is plasicy and resembles Barbie accessories. I would not recommend this outfit.

Irish Dance Outfit: The dress is not authentic, but it fits the dolls well and is solidly made. The shoes are amazing, though I thought they looked small at first. They are not small, and they are the best part of the outfit. Overall, it is worth getting.

Although i don't have any of these items myself, I know someone who does.
Marisol's Tap outfit -
The glitter hat seems really intact, I think they mix it in the plastic before they pour it.
Felcity's Stable set -
It's pretty cute. Although the background is hard cardboard. Some pieces are plastic, some are wood. If the doll owner likes horses well enough it is a good investment. Bigger then it looks in the magazene.

Elizabeth's Holiday Dress:Beautiful!I love the material,but I looks like it would rip easily.Not recommended for small child

Marisol's Ballet Outfit:Very cute.It comes with alot of stuff.The Bun is hard to do,but it works out in the end.

Sightseeing Outfit:Very short Skirt.It looked longer in the catalog,but very short in real life.Boots are hard to get on,but are worth it in the end!

Elizabeths riding outfit
Lighter pink than it appears in my catalog, and I like the softer pink better. Beautifully done...cute cute cute and I LOVE the hat. I would hate the lace at the neck if I had to wear it myself, but it is cute and I would recommend this one!

Elizabeths nightgown
Adorable, this has a new sort of velcro that seems less...whats the word...abrasive to the hair and other parts of the outfit. Definatly LOVE the new velcro. The embroidery is lovely and the slipper are so cute and satiny. This gets an A in my book.

Lastly Felicity's rose garden gown
I was disappointed with this one and sent it back and bought an older one off of ebay. The new fabric background is more of a tan and makes the dress look washed out and faded. The older Pleasant Company one I bought off of ebay, however, is beautiful and is one of my favorites.
