Find the pin curls. Spray them with water mister. wrap them around your finger.

If needed, spray them, brush them straight, and re-curl them.

That it terrible what your friend did!

Poor poor Lissie. That's horrible what your friend did to her- and to Elizabeth. Hopefully it can be fixed. Perhaps your friend shouldn't be able to hold the AGs anymore. You could always hide them the next time she comes over so that she can't get to them.

Thanks MissMooMoo,
This is Amy. I am afraid the pin curls and the short hairs are missing!!! I can't find them anywhere. I am in shock!!! Could this girl have pulled so hard brushing as to yank the hairs out??? She really did a number on her hair and I am not to happy about it. I was in tears!!!
I can't find the short hairs anywhere!!! It's like they are gone!!!
I just can't believe a girl here age, wouldn't know any better!!!
Nicole feels awful about it. I am so glad Nicole told her NO about cutting Lissie's hair.
Poor Lissie!!!!!!!
This girl has no AG dolls and obviously doesn't know how to take care of a doll very well.
I wish I could show you the brush, it is bent severly bad and three of the wires are missed and the bent wires won't bend back.
I am just speechless as to what to say!!!

I hate to recommend something so drastic, but I would call the girl's parents and let them know you're going to try to fix it, but that if the damage is irreparable, you'll need them to pay to replace her head.

Well it's a PM head and is irreplaceable.

The parents should know how out of control their daughter is, though.

Edited to add: Maybe what you can do is ask if this girl would pay for Felicity to go and get a wellness visit, since the head can't be replaced. Then AG can help with her hair some.

They probably won't believe you that their daughter did this damage though, unless the brat admits it.

Yeah, I def. don't want to replace the head.
I love kids and I feel so weird complaining about it. I know her mom will never understand. They will probably just think I am being silly about a dolls hair.
Unless they are into AG I don't think most average people will understand.
If it were a Barbie or something, it wouldn't be that big of a deal.
I hope she will apologize and we will forgive her and just make sure she keeps her hands off the AG's if she comes over again!!!!

I think you should call the girl's parents and tell them that you don't think their daughter should be allowed over to your house until she can respect people's things. I'm surprised a girl Nicole's age still has problems being respectful of other people's things!

Is it too late to find the missing pincurls? If you haven't swept or vacuumed yet, perhaps they can be found on the floor, or wherever they fell. (Check the wastebaskets, too--sometimes kids try to hide the evidence)
If you do find them, I would try re-attaching the to the wig--perhaps by sewing them back in. Maybe some of the more knowledgeable restorationists on the board can advise you.
Hope everything works out for poor Lissie! [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
