I checked out the link, got about half if them right... would've got more had I not 2nd guessed myself. Oh well.
I think that everybody is a little excited, with a doll so full of possibilities.
2 weeks until we have don't have a mysterious doll to debate about. Everyone's been guessing about this doll before we even saw her picture... Even if we are wrong it is fun to be able to guess...

I did not do too bad... and where I messed up was because I grouped them in other nationalities (which when you look up on their profile is part of their heritage). I have many friends both in the US and outside the US from a vast number of countries of origin.
I was looking at characteristics that I've noticed on them or their family. I think everyone needs to take this test (like in schools) I think it was an excellent reminder that race isn't important because honestly when we boil down to it... we really can't tell one way or another
Isn't that site neat? The blurry photos are a bit of a pain, but I think it's a good teaching tool.
The Bering Strait theory! I haven't the foggiest idea how my ancestors came to the Americas. The oldest archaeological evidence for humanity in North and South America is actually in Chile!
I get mistaken for Asian so frequently that I wonder if we (American Indians) are distantly Asian. Artic cultures are all very similar and the polar ice cap goes all over the top, so it's plausible we are related to Sami people or Siberian indigenous groups.
Someone on the board said that Jess didn't look all that asain, more central americn mix. Someone commented to me that they thought that Jess didn't look part asain, but part hawaiinchinese. What does anyone think about this idea? Thnk Keanu Reeves...possibilty??

She looks exactly like a friend of mine who is part Japanese, but nothing like my Brazilian friend. But Brazil is South America, not Central America. But don't Hawaiians have an Asian heritage?
