Question

Is it breaking the challenge if I order jess, but have her shipped home and then my mom will pay me back and she will be a Christmas present? As my mom put it, I wouldn't be ordering her for myself, I would be ordering her for my mom so my mom will wrap her up for me, if that makes sense.

The challenge is a personal thing. It's up to you to decide. You don't even have to do it. You could do a 100 day challenge where you challenge yourself to buy something new for an AG everyday for 100 days, it's all up to you.

But here is my opinion, I would say that if you have set a goal not to order anything from AG for 100 days, then yes, this is breaking the challenge. You are ordering her. It doesn't matter when you get her- the "point" of a 100 day challenge is to have the willpower to not order.

She will be there in 100 days- order her then.

But no one is going to come after you if you order her. If you don't want to do a 100 day goal, then just don't make it your goal.

Actually, since your mom is paying for Jess in the end, and you won't be getting her until Christmas, I don't think that would be breaking the Challenge.
It would depend on your personal wording of your own Challenge--but even if you used the word "order", it's still only a technicality, since you're actually just doing the "keyboard work" on your mom's behalf.
Just my humble opinion...

I haven't purchased anything from AG in about 1 1/2 years. Even though my parents have made birthday and Christmas AG purchases, I don't consider it me buying an AG item. Could your mom order and pay for Jess upfront, so that you don't feel conflicted on it?
