Unfortunately that's correct. They retired her satchel & school supplies and and then moved the slate over to the desk. The school supplies that are left are really great and if you are working on the school stories (sounds like you are ) I would highly recommend them.

They dis the same thing to Josephina and Felicity. Their school supplies were retired, but part of the set now comes with their desks.

I think it's pretty stupid. I mean, that's the most important part of school, right? What good is a lunch and a desk without the school supplies? Without the miniature readers and school supplies it's hard to see what they learned and how. I think the school supplies are the stupidest retirements they have done.

I agree! I wish that they would listen to us! Why don't they get this?!

I agree that it is really stupid that they retired Addy's school supplies, but for Josefina I kind of understand. Josefina never learned to read and write, just how to write her name. Her school story is more about her learning to weave. I think her weaving loom she be included in the Learns a Lesson section instead of her Birthday Collection.

That really is not cool! When I first started collecting as a child, the *only* accessories I wanted were the school supplies. I got Molly's, Kirsten's, and Samantha's. Those were the accessories that most appealed to me and I enjoyed playing school with friends and the readers, pencils, slate etc. These accessories are highly educational and each doll should have them.
