It's been a crappy week, with a key experiment getting shot down in flames (Tuesday night). I come in Wednesday morning to find a package on my desk, courtesy of Peter Peeker and his buddy from Vancouver, Levere. I knew that there were going to be stands in there, 8 for me and 8 for Peter, and believe me I was extremely grateful and thankful for them! I wait til 6 pm, and I go to meet Peter at work, figuring that everything else in the box would be his. I get there, and we open up the box and what did I see?
A Stealth Celtic Predator! For me! And the most amazing thing was that it was free!
See, Peter and I were going to order a Stealth Celtic when it first went on sale, but then the ugly reality of having to pay for car insurance hit me square in the face. Being that it was near Christmas time, with impending expensives, and the fact that international shipping is quite steep, I had to pass on the Stealth Celtic (it was to be my first Collectors Club exclusive that I would have ordered). It really sucked not to be able to order it, especially since I passed on the first Stealth Predator. This one I really wanted, since it was actually poseable.
So a huge thank you goes out to Peter Peeker and to Levere, who have brightened up what can only be called a $#itty week! I owe you more than I could ever say!
