Hey guys! How beez it?

I've had some customizing ideas that I'd like to try, but I have no clue what I'm doing. I'm just wondering if any of you customizers have some tips you wanna share, or any good tutorials you know of?

Do you need Super Sculpey, or is plain Sculpy ok?

What tools are must haves?

Any tips at all will help. I don't even know where to begin, but it's about time I give it a try!

I badly want to turn Brodie, and Willam from the Clerks line, into Earl, and Randy from My Name Is Earl!

I don't do any of the sculpting when I customize, but I gotta say, that's one HELL of a great idea for base figures!

Scroll down towards the bottom of this page Jin Satome's Customizing and there's a whole section on guides for customizing.

Oh yeah, nice to see you back around these parts.

I'm sure it does. I proly would've gone the same route, but I received my Dremel as a gift.

Super sculpey is the way to go.
It's easier to work with than regular sculpey

Anf for small things you can also use two parts epoxy putty

dremel's, sculpting tools (dentist's tools and whatever you can find, like hands!) work awesome

sculpey's fine, but super sculpey's definately more... super!

and acrylic paint and dullcote sealer!
