In case anyone's interested, we had a similar topic a few months back about TV shows from the 60's that used Super-8 as a camera prop, here is the link.

    Cool

A while back I saw an episode of The A Team (not exactly the best TV show ever) where they used a Kodak super8 sound camera to get the goods on the villian. My reaction was "They sure got the film back from the lab fast."

Cameraguy, can you clarify if East Coast and West Coast run simultaneously, or is there a three hour tour, er, delay.

It's 8:48 Eastern Standard time, did it air on the east coast? And I forgot to check here on the West Coast.

    Doh!

Yes it was on. It was the 518 with the folding grip. Most 518's have a fixed grip. I think its on at 8:00 local time. So it should be on in 1 hour for you as I type this. If you see it there was a projector at the end too and notice the footage they show is not even Super 8 [/QB]</font></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></BLOCKQUOTE>

While Greg Brady was filming his family, the 35mm cameras were probably filming the scene that Greg was supposed to be filming.

They probably didn't think twice about cutting the 35mm footage and simply printing the footage to mimic a Super-8 film.

I suppose the Brady Bunch's finished show masters were cut negative versus video, so they probably didn't want to deal with blowing up the super-8 footage that would have allegedly come from Greg's camera.
