For those of you who are interested in high end cleaning methods for your Super-8 films, If you do an internet search for the Photogard process, a high-end Super-8 ultrasonic cleaning machine may loom in the picture.

Is this the same as the Filmguard, which we were discussing on the 2nd page? It looks like the ultimate...but as to my question on the previous thread, there are 2 cleaning solutions to this thing...where do you put the other solution? And would this work hooked up to a super 8 projector?

The root origin of Photogard appears to be Scotch 3M
    Scotchgard.

I believe one of the solutions is a lubricator, and the other a coating material that in essence coats the film, filling in any indentations.

But before you use either product, I believe it's optimal to actually have the film ultrasonically cleaned.
