just thought i'd let everyone know. if your're looking for distribution for a film then you might want to try troma. more details at troma.com. they show at cannes, along side sundance and are the most open film co. i have ever come across. the british film institue did a retrospective of thier films about two years ago, and they are currently being shown on 4 later on saturday nights at about 2 o'clock. as we speek i am filming a segment for the new series of troma's edge tv for 4 later. troma president lloyd kaufman is incredibly aproachable.
oliver stone, brian de palma (spelt correctly? i'm a bit pissed) trey parker and matt stone and even kevin kostner have had films distributed by them. just a thought, it worked for me.

troma is the oldest independent film co. in the world. you make a serious film and they will consider it. the films they make are the films they make, the films they distribute are films other people make. so they are serious about the movies they make and distribute but most of them aren't very serious. if you see what i mean. who are you trying to get to take you seriously, we can't all be barry norman's (rip) best mate.
did you say you saw some of their films? alot of people do

Is Troma taken seriously in the movie world?

I've seen a few of the movies on Saturday nights - they're pretty awful.
