Hi,

If anyone know a bit about using a MINIDISC RECORDER to record sound for their film, then please could you contact me regarding writing small article for InFocus - the low budget amateur filmmakers guide.

Just describing which to go for, what features to look out for when buying, how to use, what sockets, tips etc...

Even with the best mini disc player/recorder, you are still going to get a hiss off recording from a microphone, because this is not what they were made for. Sure, they are a digital medium, so you are not going to have synch problems, but in my opinion, you would be better off buying a second hand DAT recorder, which can be had for about the same price.
