Hey there.
What can I say Vertino? I was hoping it wouldnt come to this but I guess I must explain myself.
I mean everyone has to take a break sometime. So when me and your mother are not making with the love thing or I aint washing her stink off. I like to spend every other minute of the day round here.
I know, I know. Its sad that someone had to sink this low as to bring someones mother into it. But what can I say.
Shes a fuckin animal.
And a scouser too.
Despin out.

When you were young you were afraid to watch scary films. But then you grow up and you want to be scared by horror films, but ironicaly you are to aware and you're not frightened by horror films. Then one Monday night you and some friends go to the Prince Charles Cinema on a whim. And you sit and feel fear that you haven't felt since you were little boys. We all considered ourselves mature men, men of the world, men who have lived, macho men even. But this film turned us into scaredy pants little boys for a whole week. I now have the film on video, but I'm still afraid to watch it.

i'll admitt it, i went to see House On The Haunted Hill, a year or two ago.
very bad movie - yet one part scared the shit out of me and as a filmmaker has disrupted my creativity.
the bit when the reporter goes down into the basement to film the strange goings on. she sees nothing in the room. then as she slowly lifts up the camera LCD into shot all you see is a surgery being perfromed on a live human, and the surgeons all turn their heads and race up to the camera - shaking their head violently - and she is killed. the camera falls to the floor and there is nothing there...
as a result of that i never shoot in my basement.

Hey there.
The House On The Haunted Hill remake was piss poor, but it had a few freaky moment like that. Some of those little shots with the weird motion worked great.
