My original question was did anyone in there off line folder or tempoarty internet files have a cached version of my guest book reason being i acidently deleted the one on the site and there were a couple of comments in there which i would like to have recovered.

Wageslave is right ?200 would be a waste to spend out of the budget and if you read down i mention that a website designer is taking over once i have the context heading in the right direction and he only cost a few beers.

at the moment im not happy with the context but when i am then ill pull in the designer

I dont know about you, but if I went to the trouble of scrounging a budget of 25 grand together to make a film I wouldnt spend a penny of it on a flippin' (is that ok? ) website until the film was finished.

oh and Davis - I have great respect for webdesigners thats a good site you link to.

On the Design side, on paper we have a look and colour skeem for the site sorted plus in a secret location on the world wib web is tons of examples and Tests for DHTML coding for the site (cewl sliding menu;s and appearing /disapearing evil nuns!) plus worked out how were going to set up the navigation. Also the site is meant to use the OverExposed font were either going to do one of two things embed the font in the site so youll get to see it or for machiens without this font flip to Garamound. (20 meg download for the tools to do the embedding stuff which is a bit pants) plus a few flash games are planned for the site (BAsh that Nun, Flash that Nun and Sister Wendy says !*"?$?.

All the context stuff should be there by year end and the design stuff will get underway in January.
