The explosion on the house at the end was a bit dodgy, but the rest was pretty awesome.
One thing that stands out to me is that the environment lighting stays the same even when her guitar case fires. Would be tough to pull this off, but it would really sell it.
Not sure what you could do about the final explosion though, short of whipping out a 3d program and modelling some building pieces falling off.
But you did pretty well man.

Actually, I wouldn't be suprised if this was an alternate Blake Edwards comedy outtake from the Trail/Curse of the Pink Panther movies from the early 80s - I mean, Ted Wass, Joanna Lumley, a kung Fu fighting Roger Moore and library bloopers of Sellers tripping over his groceries... Jules did visit the set on numerous occassions.
Good idea. It's the perfect thing for an effects test because that looks so much better than comping in gunshots over some grainy, badly lit, DV footage that most effects tests seem to be.
You should add something at the start to make it into a tiny story, some sort of back story, just for your own amusement. Just go crazy, cut in some stock footage from archive.org, its all editing/story structure practice!
It reminded me a little of the sort of mpeg movies you see on Ebaum's World etc. of babies getting shot out of cannons and the like. It might be worth sending it to one of those sites, people will watch any old shit if you give it a good title. Ie. (and I quote) 'The Farting Preacher is back again.'
I want to see at least a 10 minute re-edited version.....
