Kinda like how DV footage looks like reality but to the viewer it doesn't look right. Just like punches don't sound like slapped cabbage and rain doesn't fall in giant globules, and how television sets don't emit 1000W of blue light.Originally posted by occasus:
Actually, I'm not even sure you would be able to see the machine gun flashes in that sort of daylight.. but the "shotgun" explosions at the beginning might perhaps light up the ground a bit.
I guess all i'm saying is that what i meant by selling it is that to the viewer it will look more like it was truly part of the scene rather than something added later.
I can think how you could pull it off in combustion, but in premiere i'm not so sure.
3Ds Max can do it with matte texture maps, if you feel like rotoscoping.
