Inspiration

Hello,
i assume most of us write our own films here, and i was wondering if any fello writers would be prepared to share where they get their inspiration from?

i've found that my inspiration comes from random thourghts that pop into my head, but these are often far between. which brings me to my reason for asking, i need a source of inspiration.

Ussually a movie or a book might inspire me or put me in a certain mood. So it's not really ripping something off..it's taking the platform and creating your own story from an inspiration.

Life inspires me a lot. Just moments in life.

But ussually things com to me from nowhere. Just an idea pops into my head.

Sometimes i just get one image that i like and spend sometime thinking about. Then from that one image i branch out a story.

I'm an insomniac. I get most of my ideas lying in bed at night wearing headphones and listening to rock and roll. In the dark, with good music and alone -- especially at night -- it's like being in one of those submersion tanks. Stuff just comes shooting into your head from all kinds of crazy corners. Start at about midnight and by three in the morning I hit the keyboard and am typing like a maniac.
