Oh, I wonder who THIS could be?

I got hold of a copy of the film 'Play dead' by someone and found the film to be hilarious. It was well presented and nicely edited but the acting was poor and the storyline was ridiculous.
When four people are getting together for a game of poker. If someone turns up and you don't know who they are you will ask one of the others. You will not get to the end of the game and then find out no one knows who he is.
I noticed how the 3 actors go in to the kitchen and the light isn't on. Suddenly the light is on. When the guy with the sellotape points his finger to the phone, he points in the direction of the field he is in. Danny is then seen answering the phone next to a brick wall where he began.
Other things I noticed such as the mysterious murderer was stabbing Ollie down towards his feet. He was then seen in the bath with blood dripping from the mouth.
I have to say though even though a lot of effort has been put in, it is very funny. The funniest thing in the film was the performance by Mark A Scott as the guitar guru. Also I spotted his hair turned black in the last scene where he walks in on Danny.
'THIS FILM IS DAMNED'

Your better off out of film directing if you can't handle criticism. No disrespect to you, because you have made the effort. But you would of been better off with a better story and student actors. I shall now put sellotape on my mouth and keep quiet.
Good idea Master Parker, cos your opinions mean precisely fuck-all.
I think that's a bit harsh. His review was fair.
He said the film was well put together and nicely edited. But what lacked was a decent plot and acting.
I myself am confused with the whole stranger in the house thing. Where did he come from? How did he know there was a Poker game going? How did he get in? Why didn't anyone ask who he was? What did they call him? An explanation of how he appeared would have been good.

Isn't a little ambiguity nice from time to time?
I can understand that you can't really explain anything due to the time constraints.
Even with features, you don't always need (or want) to know everything that happens.
Who Shot Nice Guy Eddie?
Is Deckard the sixth replicant?
What's in Jules and Vincent's briefcase?
Just some examples of keeping the viewer in the dark.
But if you must... each poker player thought that the guitar guru came with one of the others, as is explained at the end of the scene.
Why didn't the guitar guru say anything to the man who was playing the guitar at the poker table?
Do you need everything in movies explained to you?
