OK having read this whole thread I would just like to make a couple of points.

I think the reason why some fans feel a bit disillusioned with Darren atm is because he once represented something or someone they looked up to and respected because of the views he held on certain subjects. I guess he's only human like the rest of us. He's fallible and makes mistakes. But having said that, should the business side of the fan base really bother us that much? If Darren has faults, they are mostly that he is far too trusting and maybe a bit naive in his judgement of some people. Or maybe he really doesn't care that much about the fan side of things any more. I would like to think it is the former. The music is what made me a fan of him in the first place, followed by his looks [img]wink.gif[/img] I suppose it all boils down to feeling included and not excluded in his world.

I guess for me if I base it on the music.. Im not a fan of Darren Hayes solo really. There a few nice songs .. but they arent greatness...

I guess Im a fan of SG music.. I still love that music..

I've defiantly been less active on DHBBS because I felt too involved with stuff that I shouldn't be concerning myself with.

I bet I don't even read 10% of the threads there anymore
