Does anyone else think that far behind isnt that great of song? I think the music is cool, and really like the chorus. But, to me, the verses just seem rushed and kinda sloppy. And the lyrics in the verses just dont seem very high caliber, and kind of lame.Just an opinion

i mean on what intellectual level would you want your lyrics in a "fuck-off-i'm-through-with-you-song"?

I was shopping on my street yesterday and I heard Far Behind on the radio in one of the stores. I have no idea what station it was though.

I would make a good guess that 94.9 in So Cal is probably playing Far Behind. They ALWAYS play Social D. Or at least they did when I lived in SD. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

If your looking for something completely original, (the music is a take off from an old Descendents song)and well thought out lyrics, then yes maybe you are right, but it's just a song, and it's new. I like it, not my favorite but I like it.

I like far behind a lot. My favorite recent social d song's lyrics are Nickles and Dimes. very catchy just like far behind.

I think I get happy just hearing Social D on the radio. It doesn't happen that often, and when you like a band's full body of work, any song heard unexpectantly is cool. Other than Ball and Chain I don't think of any of the songs as a single. All their songs belong on a certain album for me, and each album has a particular vibe. Being released on it's own, it's hard for me to decide how I feel about it.

I really like this song alot; however. I kind of agree about the lyrics being a little rushed!
