Anyone know any info on Danny McGough

I know he has been playing with SD for a while now.. i was looking over the new tiger army cd and noticed he did some work on a track.. is he basically a studio musician that bands take on the road? or has he been in bands in the past?

I don't know how close Tiger Army are with Social D, but when they played Red Rocks last summer together, one of Social D's roadie's (can't remember his name), played pedal steel guitar on In the Orchard and The Long Road. And I noticed Danny standing off to the side watching alot of the Tiger Army set, and Brent too, watching the upright bass player.

He isn't just a studio or road musician but he does do that. His band Shivaree had a hit in Europe a few years ago and there song plays over the credits in Kill Bill Vol. 2. Its still weird sometimes to see him playing onstage with my favorite band.

Donny was in the studio recording with Tiger Army and brought Danny in to do some work on it as well.
Its just that simple, you know a talented musician, you bring 'em in. They are buddies.
