Sandy; as there's me thinking I had an impending
video commission, too. (If I had, you could knock
off at least $500 of that 2K for my airfare alone.

Re video production investment: you've got two
avenues to consider: PC (Premiere Pro, After
Effects, shoot everything on miniDV and install
a graphics card with, at the very least, a Fire-
Wire socket), or Mac (Final Cut Pro and Motion
[Apple's version of After Effects, which negates
After Effects' 'keyframes' in favour of 'behaviours).

It is possible to install After Effects 6 for Mac,
I think. For what it's worth, I've got access to
    all the above.

There's some great FCP/Motion etc. demo movies
    at:

it's like everything else on the net; You take what you can use and leave the rest. Move on after it outlives it's usefullness. It's a bit amusing but I wouldn't live vicariously through it(thats sad) I prefer G-net too overall.

    I'm not a 'proud' myspace.com user. I currently find
it convenient. I'll eventually be glad to see the
back of it. People who are currently spending '87%
of their online time there' need medical advice.

I love it...I'm not a "friend collector" though, I only add people that I either know (even if I only know them casually), or know "of" (like friends of friends).

On that note, feel free to add me! lol http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fus...riendID=119705

All right, let me see, myspace sucks because; it's full of morons, it's covered in adverts, no one cares about anything besides how popular they/their band looks and so forth. And guess what... that's exactly like 99.999% of the things online. There's some cool people on myspace, band pages with music, it's free, there's some nice little games... it can be a pretty nice place to be for a while. As with anything though, the majority is a pain in the ass.

Some people think this board is so cool, but there are other boards on Hostboard.com that most of us would dislike just as much as myspace. You've really just got to dig around a bit on myspace, it's not all bad.

We could set up a Glam group on there as well, of course every time someone tries to do anything new, people go split into little glam sub-groups. So, nevermind I mentioned a Glam group.

I remember the other boards, but we could never agree to all move to a different one while Glitz was gone. Which is why it would probably never work to make a glam group on myspace...

Having never experienced myspace pre-adverts or
on dail-up, I don't have a problem with it. It
must be a complete bitch, though, waiting for those
pages with too much junk in the trunk to download.

For shameless purposes of publicity I just knocked up a quick profile on there,

    http://profile.myspace.com/users/5399367

Seems pretty cool, but just crossing my fingers that I don't attract any more "bunny-boiling nutcases" like I did the last time I did something like this haha
