listened to the radio
until the city fades
away in static.
As long at the air
waves could hold out,
I can hold those urban
memories in my head.
It seems sad to
leave, but when it's
time to move on,
it's time to drive on
like I like my life
changing & unpredictable
& opportunities to see
new faces, new names
something new-
because same things starts
feeling old.
I'm fond of this radio station
it was always on this dial
so I'm listening, seeing faces
that I am leaving behind
crackling in static
crack.... in ...tic
.....ling .. sta...
.......... .. ..tic

heh... little road poem? I like it. Is the tense change intentional, or just an accidental twist?

I like this one, Dwim. Really caught the feeling of leaving something familar, the sadness and happiness associated with that.
