I'm pushing to touch your lips,
To brush your face with my fingers,
To linger in your embrace.
Only a moment to speak,
And to imagine the thoughts I should say!
To sprinkle compliments in the shortened,
Span of less than an hour,
When once it was days on end.
Something digs inside of me to tie me here,
To this worn, tired, chair.
So here is where I sit,
Inspired by the thought of your lips,
To cut the ropes,
To cut my flesh that binds,
The screaming mind that won't succum,
To the silence of your lips.

wow i like the line of the worn tired chair. the last line was good too. i dont like the comma after shortened cause it goes right along with the next line and it breaks up the flow. but overall lots of emotion. i liked it lots....
