"Do It Yourself" Oven Safety Valve System

I'm sitting here going through this to show hubby. That's his god given gift, he can fix or build anything!! I am just so curious and since you brought it up could not resist..............

Are you going to attempt to build this??
Being the aggie (we fellow Texans know exacxtly what that means) that you proudly are, one word to you. AFLAC!! quack quack!!

Seriously, has anyone built one with Sam's instructions. Any hints, tips, what not to do's, problems with available parts, etc...?? Pictures of your new safety sysytem. Would you rate this a easy or tedious project??

I've saved all this wonderful info too, for the very same reason....to have available when we start on the safety system.

Has anyone done a price comparision-- DIY vs. having one professional built by TOAC or someone else???
I'm going on the theory if Mark the aggie can build one, safely (Texans will again know what that means) then it should be a breeze for the rest of us!!
