Hmm, interesting. Pirates in protected waters or did the cruise line go off course?
Speaking of targets, if I were an Al Queda terrorist, I'd know what I would blow up. We've got this annual convention here called, well, let's translate it as Household Fair.
Imagine: a contained space, virtually no security, filled with thousands of moms and children. The ultimate soft target. I'm surprised no one has thought of it yet. It's high damage, low difficulty.
Fairs should have better security in this day and age. You can just walk in with a large bag, and no one will look at you funny.
(Unless your Arab, but people always look suspiciously at them. How sad.)

No Henk She's right...its freakin Pirates off the coast of Africa. They kept the first one real quiet But this lastest time some passengers had video cameras and taped the attack. My in-laws (who are loaded and travle 3 times a year) have sworn off cruise ships cause they are convinced El Qada is going to bomb one soon...kinda makes sense, since it could kill about 3000 people hypothetically speaking.
