Okay I know somewhere in here there was something about Irc and all, But I can't seem to find it >____< But I just have a few questions if anyone is willing to help me on it LOL ^^;;

Okay I am woundering where is a good site to download mIRC...okay kinda dumb but I am just starting out ^^;; And another thing is I know how to get to a channel just how do I download the manga I want >_< I have been reading tutorials but either none of them explain it or I just don't understand it o.O And if anyone knows any good tutorials[sp]I would apperciate it...beacause right now I am sorta confussed and it is really frustrating to understand some tutorials [img]eek.gif[/img] ....so any help would be appeciated...*sigh* maybe I will just quit while I am ahead...

nakana and obesession have a good guie to how use mirc in your language... is like DOS

Also, on the server irc.mircx.com There's a channel #yaoirulez. It's the irc channel for Obsession. You'll find me and Crisis along with a few of the others there. Ask me some time and I'll walk you through how to use an fserver.

That would be a good idea, if it hadn't been ruled out before!

I know #yaoirulez and #nakama on MIRC-X server are both yaoi-dominated channels....and #nakama is where I hang out quite often. Lots of yummy files to download!

I'd also agree with the others, download it from www.mirc.com and for a good tutorial go for obsession's great tutorial ^^

edit: uhm, and I wonder... has anyone been thinking about an own channel for S-C? since more and more people here seem to start using and liking irc...? (but maybe this has been discussed before and I just missed it *g* sorry in that case ^^;; )

you copy the manga do you want and writte before the paste

haru_c2.zip 10mb

you must copy and and writte before the word get

get haru_c1.zip

without 8mb
you must wait and the file is goint to send you

I don't mind mIRC it's just that sometimes I get frustrated and want to give up...that is why I still like just downloading it from sites LOL ^^;; the only reason I am learning is cause I know a lot of sites are going to it now..so really I have no choice if I want to read the Manga..


Hmm okay I am a little confussed here about mIRC >< I get how to download and all but when ever I copy and past a code that starts with /ctcp blah blah sometimes I get another page popping up saying someting about a chat line has been open o.O uhh does anyone know what that means..I thought when I typed in /ctcp blah blah I would get a download thing and all..I mean I have downloaded one other thing so I am a little lost here...any help anybody....

Okay I did what you said and I tried to download something and it said "Adding your file to queue slot 5. The file will send when the next send slot is open." And then about a couple of mins later it said "DCC session closed" well it gave me warrnings and I was like uhh okay lol. But what do I do about that o.O Do I close it or do I leave it...

DCC chat sessions automatically close after a minute or two, if the F-serve said your file was queued, that means you'll get it, unless the person running it goes offline or something.

You can close the chat window anytime after you've queued what you want. If you want to access the Fserve again, just type the trigger.
