IRT Cav: I'm trying to set up an FTP or HTTP server to share files with people I know; I'll be able to upload you the Maburaho pics once I fix a couple problems.

Since the FTP clients browsers have built-in are limited in features, and FTP.EXE sucks, I'm trying to find a decent, free, small, and easy to use FTP client for Windows. One would think this is a snap... There are approximately a GAZILLION of them.
Surprisingly, I've found this to be rather difficult. I can't believe how poor are some of the clients done ? even some prestigious clients like FileZilla. FileZilla will mess up when uploads are not allowed. FTP Commander will just hang at my server because it kicks it for issuing shit I don't like to support. FTPX whatever asks me to reboot after installing (OMGWTF), that's an auto kick+ban from my system. The CofeeCup FTP installer won't work so I couldn't try it... FreeFTP's UI sucks and it doesn't seem to support PASV mode. Another one screwed up if the FTP server won't request a password for some accounts... Other "Free" FTP clients like AceFTP or something like that want you to register (you learn this once you've installed it, of course). I can't believe this. I thought after 30 years we would have decent FTP implementations but it doesn't seem to be the case... >_<
Turns out that FAR's FTP client is the best one by far, but it's a bit difficult to use if you aren't used to FAR/Norton Commander type things...
