-They say Montcalm is much improved from last year, but there is some bad news for them: Hurley is better too.
Offensively, the Rebels have a lot of balance with a lot of different options. Throw in an O-line that is finally firing off the ball and you can see the results (80 points in two games this year; last year, they only scored 145, including there playoff appearance).
Defensively, I've not seen this team more ball-hawking and hungry to play. The tackling has improved and more than one player is getting to the ball carrier to take 'em down.
Montcalm has a really good dual threat QB, but they don't have a whole lot surrounding him. There offense may score some points (may score more than I predict), but they do not have a defense capable of shutting Hurley down.

GBC 6
-TV's loss to Bland puzzles me. I was expecting TV to be a tough team this year, but they'll have to keep chipping away to make me think that way again.
Honaker 35
JIB 7
-Didn't Honaker struggle with this game last year? I don't think they will so much this year, but I still think they'll have to adjust without Bostic to run the offense.
Richlands 36
Grundy 14
-Marcum breaks one big run early and somebody else scores in mop-up duty.
