I am sure somebody had that mixed. It just does not look like it came from Altec.

I's incredibly easy to generate a label these days.

And frankly, I don't think ANYBODY in Chicago EVER built cabs for Altec. They probably built them for the local Altec CONTRACTOR. Big difference.

Well, that what I figured too...... his words were "for Altec". I suspect he didn't see much difference between Altec and a local installer.

Not sure, but if you play Brasil 66' followed by Herb Alpert... Lani Hall just might crawl out of one... and Dolores Erickson out of the other...

Time to thin the herd a bit. I have too many of these, and I want to make some space. Up for sale is a single MR94B with throat. Not pretty or perfect, but definitely cheap!











The only issue with the horn is the one dinged corner as shown. The dust is included free of charge...

I'd like $75 for the MR94B and throat. $160 takes both the horn/throat and 291-16K driver listed separately, and I will ship, but will warn in advance that shipping might be $20-30 when all is said and done. I will double box and only charge actual shipping.

Interesting the 630 Hz xover...didn't realize Altec ran 909's that low...OTOH it's attenuated probably by 10 dB to balance with the woofer...

I never knew Altec made an all in one stereo....... MODEL 911. Normally, I'm not the least bit impressed with this kind of setup....... I wonder what the Altec version is like.
