Yes including XO's. The good looking set has the XO's you described but updated components and the not so pretty ones have stock XO's . The not so pretties also have new HF 'phragms from Bill at GPA.

My wife had to look at me sideways to get me to move them off the bed last night. Some women just don't understand the life of a Speakerholic.

I will be keeping both sets for now. Sorry John.

Yeah I had to train my wife about the speaker situation.That a girl, Now she doesn't bother me much about it.As long as I take her somewhere when she gets her vacations from work it is all Good. Besides she loves music too.

No Apologies needed Cal if you ever do want to sell a pair, the not so pretty ones let me know, I will give you a very fair offer.The 604-8G's and H's I like the best.The other set that has the original phragms in them what phragm are they do you know or haven't gotten that far yet..I know the G's came stock with the 23744 (Lite)as mine have. The Berhinger CX 2310 XO's showed up and I had a chance to have a good listen to them on the 604's. No complaint with the XO's or the amps (Tascam 30W SS PA), they seem fine. Problem was I put the 604's in the 1233 boxes to try them out and was in a 100 ft^2 room.

I don't think either of those was a good idea.

I also found much to my dismay the lower I put the XO point the better they sounded. Around 8-900 was good, 1.5K not so. Better get these babies outside where I can begin to enjoy them.

That's darn low for that horn. The woofer will sound better down there, but I'm surprised that the horns do.

Are you sure that is okay. Altec's 811 horn is has a recommend min XO freq of 800hz.

I can't be sure of the XO point, I am just using the dial on the XO so...

Just to say that in such a small room with the wrong cabinet and being in such proximity that I found the cone breakup more than a little troublesome. I thing a larger box and environment will do them a world of good.
