Rush - The Trees - so many songs I love from these guys...but this one is great for sure

WA Mozart - The Salzburg Symphonies - Early composition by the 16yr old genius.

Yes - Long Distance Runaround - what can I say?

Budgie - All at Sea - A very talented, underrated Welsh band. This album sounds incredible through Altecs...Goosebumps.

I know, I cheated by listing too many. But I have very wide tastes in music
Some great stuff--and a nice variety! BTW, didn't know there were so many Enya fans here. I'm also a fan of Enya and I like her sister Maire's band Clannad almost as much. Here are a few favorites from my collection:

Just because I had a few minutes to spare today I checked Amazon for one recording that I find quite outstanding. And I decided I'd see how the availability looks. OUCH!

Back when I was a mere lad I had just gotten my first FM transistor radio, maybe in 1970. Our little town also got it’s first FM station that would go off of the air at 10:00 PM. Any how, they only had a hand full of tunes and would always play a song that I loved, but don’t have a clue who it was. The lead singer who I think either played piano or organ starts out in a James Earl Jones voice with an English accent, and he starts out talking about playing in a pub, getting crap from some bloke in the audience, while playing some blues rifts. After some more narrative, he says something like, “Now your messing with the King of Rock and Roll and starts whaling with the best rock I had ever heard.

Any of you old farts have any idea what I’m talking about? Google searches have turned up Zilch.

    Switched-on Bach re-issued: Wendy Carlos, S-OB
Opinion is only as valid as its verifiable supporting evidence.

Great clips--nice to see Joe's still got it! I saw him live once, years ago, opening up for BB King. He was barely a teenager then, and was amazing--the crowd was blown away by his performance.....
