Back when I was a mere lad I had just gotten my first FM transistor radio, maybe in 1970. Our little town also got it’s first FM station that would go off of the air at 10:00 PM. Any how, they only had a hand full of tunes and would always play a song that I loved, but don’t have a clue who it was. The lead singer who I think either played piano or organ starts out in a James Earl Jones voice with an English accent, and he starts out talking about playing in a pub, getting crap from some bloke in the audience, while playing some blues rifts. After some more narrative, he says something like, “Now your messing with the King of Rock and Roll and starts whaling with the best rock I had ever heard.
Any of you old farts have any idea what I’m talking about? Google searches have turned up Zilch.
In 1968 Wendy was Walter

Not all vegetables make good leaders.
Switched-on Bach re-issued: Wendy Carlos, S-OB
Opinion is only as valid as its verifiable supporting evidence.
