802D's

Hello guys,

Anyone thinking of parting with their spare 802D, or 802D's(pair). Please contact me!

I am posting my inquiry here because of my unfortunate buying history on Ebay. I had two pairs of 802D's and both of the pair I got have one of each had audible difference in output(low in output). Of course, I do not have the two pairs at the same time as to mix and match as I returned the other pair first before getting another.

I am tired of buying and negotiating for the return. In fact, I have two pairs of diaphragms bought from GPA(one pair is 8 and the other 16 ohms) that I accumualated thinking its from the diaphragms as the culprit.

I was eyeing the last pair offered on ebay again but was outbid. I currently have one 802D. Looking for a pair or one will do. Please throw a member some bone if you will.

That sounds possibly like one and/or both require a magnet recharge at GPA.

I have a pair of 802D that I can send you. The magnets have been recharged by GPA, but like a dope I put a dent in one of the diaphragms. One of binding posts on one of the drivers is a bit iffy (why I had the back plate off in the first place).
