Does anyone know of a source for non electrical fittings for emt? By that I mean T fittings ,X fittings, L fittings etc. that would be used to assemble emt into various shapes but not for wiring purposes. These could be of a set screw or compression type like normal emt connectors and couplings.
    Thanks in advance Tom

Woould copper pipe fittings fit over EMT? You could use sheet metal screws to fasten them.

    Red face

Ampacity: I looked the definition of EMT in the C.E.C. (section 0). It indicates that EMT has dimensions different than standard pipe. Hence you will probably have a hard time locating other types of fittings that work on EMT. How about using rigid conduit (it has the same dimensions as standard pipe) ? Another possibility is welding. Last winter when I was skiing at Fernie Alpine Resort I noticed they had some handy dandy portable fences made form 1" EMT, all the joints were welded.
