Hiya Danny..I was hoping you would see this too..Your way of doing is certainly one of the better ways to appreciate life in general. Sometimes we gotta see the worst..to see the best..that holds true in people as well dosnt it..

this board gives me many many things...but i think the thing that i love most...about this place...
is reading about Dave's DAd....and FI's dad....and my DAd.... and our memories of them...and how wonderful they were...
reading about DAve's dad in his final hours made me sob... because I have s ome similar memories...
selling my mom's house this summer and going thru 50 years worth of 'junk' found... army discharge papers for my dad...from WW2... all of his "battles" he was in...
i did know...that he landed on the beaches of Normandie... im so very proud of him...
i'd have given a million dollars to see Fi's dad... in his 'thithle thockth ! heh !
and well, it completely reminds me... of goodness... that is what i am grateful for...
i think today i will visit my dad...and put a pumpkin on his grave....

thanks chele *S* yes he was a very good looking man *S*
while some may question me putting my dad here, that's coz they didn't know him....he was as fun-loving as the rest of us and would have had a chuckle over being on the 'evil interweb' as my mum once called it *L*
and i don't think of him as 'gone'....he's just not here anymore...but his spirit and laughter and smile are here...through me and my sister and brother, and that's something that was very important to him
