*nodding*... i thought about that as well... harry REALLY being dex's dad i mean... it would kinda mean that they had an ongoing affair for a LONG time... a period of years, because dexter was what, like 4, 5, 6 when his mom got killed? they could make it plausible, though... she and harry could have known one another some way before dex was born... he could have busted her for something, and they don't really say how long she was an informant, since you just found out in the last show that she WAS an informant.. though i pretty much figured she was already... there is a method, lol. you don't chop someone up into little bitty pieces for owing you money or merchandise... because then you get neither back. That's usually saved for rats, or the families of someone who has ratted. i kinda thought that maybe dex's dad was the informant, i didn't realize it was her...

i think you guys are right about deb and special agent fucking asshole. *L* the writers are developing a rapport between them... they spend a lot of time working one on one... and deb will never be able to maintain a relationship with a "normal" guy... the dude is a fucking children's book writer for god sakes... she studies dead bodies for a living, lol. NOT happenin, not long term, anyway... mister FBI guy understands her job, and her emotional scars from the whole "i fucked the ice truck killer" thing. we'll see i guess....

i'm not too sure what they're doing with dex and rita, throwing Lila into the mix. He relates to Lila in a way that he'll never be able to with rita. (i dunno though... sometimes i think maybe there is more to THAT one than meets the eye as well...) i dunno what to think about Lila entirely... she seems to be helping dexter... at the moment... but i can't help think you're right, danny... there is more to her than meets the eye... i think she'll end up doing something that dex has to kill her for. or she'll find out too much, and then what? will he kill her for that? he didn't paul... even though it would have made the whole situation a lot easier if he had... because paul hadn't committed a crime... he didn't kill anyone... so he couldn't break the code... i think it will be interesting to see what happens between them. She is clearly into dex... will he stay with rita where it's safe, or venture into bed with Lila, who understands his darker side? I think she may become a problem in the respect that she wants dex... and if he turns her down... well. we know what happened to the LAST guy that did that... she burned down his fucking house with him in it! Or she may try to threaten or harm rita... which will NOT be a good idea at all. He got pissed and whacked the car salesman in the heart because he said she was a bitch like all the rest. lol. imagine what he would do if someone actually tried to hurt her.

How do you think dex will get around the video camera recording him checking the boat over for blood traces? Every week though it's something, isn't it... for a while it was Doakes... i didn't think he'd EVER worm his way outta that problem... he always finds some way to squeeze around things... change a report here, delete some information there, break a cooling system and turn his victim's bodies into pink goo...etc etc... i think he'll find out about the surveillance in advance, and find some way to destroy the camera or the tape... or possibly come up with some scenario in which he was simply trying to demonstrate that you could get away with anything out there...

what i think is that harry should probably be glad he's dead right now, lol. cuz if he wasn't, i'm thinking that dex might take a whack at him... every time he thinks he's discovered the whole truth, little bits of information come out that show harry to be a liar... my mind keeps coming back to harry maybe being dex's real dad... that would explain things a little better, wouldn't it... why he took dexter home and kept him, and left brian there... i definitely think you're onto something with that....

When it comes to the FBI guy and deb, im looking at it in this perspective. Deb an ambitious detective wanting to learn all angles of her field of work, and as shown in the previous 2 episodes is quite impressed with the FBI man?s keen intuition in his investigations, as he is with her (almost like a perfect match in interest)

Like rouge said, the ?writer? is nothing to her but a ?nice guy? and a hot body to fuck, but in time she would only grow bored with that.

Lila is Hot I agree, in fact, if I was in dext?s shoes Id bang her, and dump the liability. For some reason, I predict Rita being the final downfall of Dexter once it ever comes, like harry said ?nothing stays buried? so the inevitable will happen, and for some reason, I feel rita will be the center of that outcome?.we?ll see.

However he needs be careful with this lila chic, she seems vindictive, and manipulative, that?s why I think in the end he will end up killing her. next episode showed her allready pushin his buttons on an emotional level.

ya know... they made it a point for the guy who killed dex's mom to say he didn't know WHO the cop was that his mom was screwing... i think it would be funny if FBI guy ended up being his father... *L*

i'm anxious to see what he does about the video footage... i saw in the previews also where FBI guy invites him onto the team to catch the bay harbor butcher.. and says he's heard dex has a keen sense of serial killers and their actions... yikes. has he seen the footage already? or hasn't he? that's gonna be interesting, as well as what hapens between dex and lila.... certainly a dramatic show this week! i guess dexter and rita are no more... which is kinda sad, but i sorta like it in a way... rita was gettin kinda boring... i dunno though... i don't think they will wind up staying apart... she dumped him, he slept with someone else... THAT is why you should never say things you don't mean when you're mad. *L* poor rita... she was understanding... after it was already too late... anyway, i thought lila and dexter were kinda hot together... [img]wink.gif[/img]
dex also solved his video camera footage problem... he needs to move that damn boat before someone figures something out... the way Lundy was staring at him... when he went to help him, and dex was unloading all his equpiment... being so precise... and Lundy was talking about this guy being totally obsessive about his tools.... i don't know... that was kinda weird... ooooh, and that weird awkward hug between Lundy and Deb later when he told her he didn't like dexter, he just hated Misouka. (who can blame him, that guy gets on my damn nerves, lol.) We'll see on both counts i guess...

oh! and i happened to remember something from the first season... we're talking about whether or not Harry may have actually been Dex's biological father... but remember back in the first season... when Dex's bio dad died, and he and rita went to clean out his house and sell it? (rudy the slasher and deb ended up coming with them... and rudy was all gay-like towards dexter, i thought he was gonna be in love with him or something, before i figured out he was the ice truck killer, and also dex's brother, lol.) Anyway.... dex had a blood test done... to match his DNA to his father's, to see if he really was his dad or not... and it came back a match... so unless someone messed with the test, dex can't be harry's biological son.... which sucks, because that would have been a cool twist to the story... oh well. i think dex is hating harry more and more all the time anyway... harry used to look like the good guy, but i don't know now.... maybe there was something not right about HIM. who knows...
and GRRRRR. looks like Doakes is back on dexter's case again.... i think things are gonna get exciting... i have no idea if there were previews for next week or not, because for some damned reason, EVERY week now, they play a preview to the episode of "brotherhood" that comes on right after it... and the previews are knocked out... i've noticed if you watch it at a later time during the week, the previews are there... that's starting to get on my nerves. its is still and optional twist, keep in mind his brother was trailing his every move...also was obssessed with dexter being his "companion/full brother" so it could be possiable the brother antisipated that dexter would do take a test...

Rita isnt out of the picture, see she forgave him "post" him maybe bangin Lila, it was just an emotional slap to the face to first be told it didnt happen, then learn it did later.

Lila is up to somthing from what was shown in the previews.

Also wanted to add....in the writers mind, he kept an offsping of Harry's very close to dexter, why would he do that? unless in the future HER DNA will be the final note to the mystery of harry, and his web of lies.

Irony speaks louder, because even if Harry had an daughter, why in the script is she still lingering in Dexters life.

well, if we are speaking about deb, i think she stays close to dex because he's the only "family" she has left... but yes, it is kinda curious as to the writer's reasoning for it. she must be important in the story later, somehow... *nodding*...

i finally saw the previews and YEP! i knew it... lila is a fucking whacko. it sorta looks like she's following my initial prediction and becoming obsessed with dexter... crazy ass, she set her house on fire apparently... next she'll be wanting to stay with dexter i'll bet. *L*... but honestly, now i'm wondering if she doesn't have a much larger part, somehow in dex's past somewhere... i don't know... the caption on the previews... "the only thing that's more dangerous than what he's hiding... is what SHE'S hiding".... hmmmmmmmmmmm. interesting. tho in the end, i think dex is gonna find out that she did something really fucked up... like killed her boyfriend on purpose... burned him to death for leaving her... and probably to others, as well... sorta like a black widow of sorts... if it can be proven, we all know what will happen to lovely lila... i don't think rita's out of the picture, either... they did far too much to establish her in the story... and now the weird thing going on with her mom coming to live there and etc... to just shove her out the door... all's i can say is that lila had better hope that rita's house doesn't end up catching fire... OMG... and i SO hope that was not a dream or something dex was imagining when he head-butted Doakes in the previews! i have been DYING for him to knock the shit outta him for AGES... they sorta got into it at the containment unit that time last season that dex was there looking for rudy and deb... but dex didn't have the time to finish things, as rudy was about to hack deb into tiny bloodless peices. *L* doakes may be secret service military... and he may be big and muscular... but i think he was suprised by dex... he got in a few pretty good punches and held his own for the short time they fought during that episode... i can't WAIT... i hope they ROLL! maybe doakes will lose his job and go off the fuckin show... of course, i realize that in actuality, his character is necessary to the plot... *L*... SOMEONE has to be suspicious of dex and make things a little hairy for him from time to time, or he would just be liked by everyone, and always get by with everything, which would be boring. he NEEDS to punch Doakes in the head for messing around with his mom's case files... i thought he was gonna go fucking CRAZY when he went into his office and saw him listening to those interview tapes. OMG. lol. i was all psyched for him to kick the shit out of him right then... i think that's what sends dex off next week... doakes is talkin about how there IS no dexter morgan, not as far as childhood records go... i'm not positive he could actually tie dex to his mom, though... harry never reported him as being there... i suppose rudy (brian) was the only one listed as being in the containment unit... harry just shut his mouth and didn't say another word about dexter.

i can't wait to find out what happens next week... i really realllllly wanna know exactly how screwed in the head lila is... and what she's gonna do next.... though it will probably take a few episodes to all play out completely.... i think she and rita should rumble before they get rid of her, lmao... i'd like to see rita punch her square in the eye.... a little eye jammy action, just as she's talking in that haughty-ass voice, what is her accent, british? i dunno, but it's snotty and irritating. *L*
