Re: UAE to take over US PORTS
What is the name of Bush's buddy that got all those contracts in Iraq? Wonder why he doesn't want to run something in his own country? And the thing is run by their government- if we can rebuild New Orleans, save Iraq and oversee Iran, we can take of our own ports of entry and borders- it is becoming not a question of want to , but have to. 90 Billion to Iraq and let the UAE run our ports? I wonder why the country is sick of politics? We spend a fortune on the world and then sell the friggin country?

Dibai calls it quits
Dubai to give up control of U.S. ports
Deal ran into ....
Sen. John Warner, chairman of the Armed Services Committee and a member of the Senate committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, who took the Senate floor to read to colleagues a press release from Dubai Ports World disclosing its new stance.
"Because of the strong relationship between the United Arab Emirates and the United States and to preserve that relationship, DP World has decided to transfer fully the U.S. operation of P&O Operations North America to a United States entity,"? he read from a statement by Bilkey, DP World's chief operating officer. The announcement did not specify which American company would be involved.
