Yep, Movie Starz rocks.. they have XBOX, PS2, Gamecube, XBOX 360, PS3, and even Wii games. Highly recommended if you ever need something new to play.

According to what I've heard, yes. the PS3 is backwards compatible with just about all PS2 games. It is not compatible with PSone discs or memory cards though.

I'm pretty sure the PS3 is compatible with both PS2 and (most) Playstation games.

i am wondering if anyone has had trouble out of their PS3 yet...i have read many complaints about them....has anybody had trouble playing certain games or with the games freezing and locking up...has anybody had problems hooking it up to an HDTV some of the problems maybe can you get sound by hooking it up to surround sound???
feedback would be appreciated because i am looking into buying one

I have only had mine for a few days but haven't put it down. So far, everything works on mine just fine. I never experienced any problems with PS2 like alot of other people did either, guess I am just lucky.
I have my PS3 hooked up on an HDTV and it looks great and I haven't had any problems, I have mine hooked up with a HDMI Cord.
I also have mine hooked up with an Optical Digital Cord for my DTS Surround Sound, works great so far.

Yes I play NCAA 2007 online with my PS2 and some of my online buddies are playing NCAA 2007 online with their new PS3.

I'm going to get one of these things in the next week or so, but I'm going to be one pissed off dude if I cant play online at the college. I know that was the case with the ps2 last year, I haven't tried it this year.
