that's an opinion, and you're certainly entitled to it.
however, that's not quite how it works here.

I don't expect anyone to change for me, but it won't stop me from saying what I choose to say.

It's sort of like my banning at the White Board.

I was banned because I wouldn't curb my language and my attitude.

But that's a small price to pay to be principled.

see, thing is, with that...
when you signed up at the WB, you agreed not to use foul language.
it's part of the deal.

And I broke em...for the kids.

Think about the children damn you!

Really, I don't believe in rules, which is how I avoid any personal obligation to follow them. Hey, it works for me.

Jayzuz fuck, are we still babbling about this?

Bah.

Nostro, I really don't appreciate you airing our dirty laundry like that. Yeah, yeah, you didn't use names, but everyone knows how venomously we despise each other...jagoff.

HC, here's the thing: You come off as an asshole, and I don't believe for one second that you speak to people's faces the way you speak to them on the board. Unless you are posting from a hospital room, that is. To paraphrase the great philosopher, the Honorable Judge Judy, don't piss on my leg and tell me its raining, sweetheart.

TCM, yer right. You know I know yer right, and you know why. Let's tell everyone else, shall we?

<font size="9"><font color="red">IT WAS ME, FUCKERS.</font></font>

Got that clear, do we, dearies? It was everybody's favorite punching bag, good ol' DA, who brought this issue to TCM's attention. Why, you might ask? Because regardless of what anyone else thinks, I have been doing this interweb thing for a godsdamn long time, and I know stupid when I see it. And that thread was just a couple of posts off from becoming real damn stupid, no matter what spin you want to put on it. Truth be told, when I saw that thread the night before, I knew that it was going to go bad, and I hoped it would just drop w/o any replies. So much for hope, am I right?

Heh. Who am I kidding? I'm always right.

So. Ready, aim, and fire, kids. Lay off each other, and lay it on ol' DA. Send me your loathing, your vitriol, your hate. I love it. I thrive on it. But once yer done, do us all a favor and give the dead horse a rest. Get over it. No democracy is perfect, and even our esteemed forefathers had to burn a few witches before they got it right.

Grow up.
