The first script I wrote was a horror/ghost story. Dunno why. But looking back its a good way to start out with the writing process. Having to develop tension, pacing, structure, links and mappings between ghostly events. Straight forward drama is hard to do.

I have a cast that will make me cry, if only through sheer incompetence, but that's not really helpful. [img]tongue.gif[/img] (This only applies to certain actors in my troupe, some are quite good)

i'm scared to tell you now... arty stuff i guess, i'm in to beauty...i'm working on a short at the moment about wendy (as in wendy of peter pan and wendy). she's grown up and newly married to a sucessful yuppy ******* but never got over her first love (peter). if my film can make one person think for just a second then my job is done. film is such a powerful thing, it shouldn't be mindlessly wasted the way it is by most of the heartless trash we see today.

i saw a good docco, presented by david hockney if i recall, where he gave a good argument for artists of the day using camera-obscura type devices to project an image onto a canvas which they would then 'copy'. Great stuff!

i'm more into conceptual stuff like mondrian, klee and the surrealists ... let's not forget bauhaus. Escher rocks.
