IM A HUGE RFTC FAN AND THE LAST TIME I KNOW THEY PLAYED A SHOW WAS IN SEPT. IT WAS A FREE SHOW THEY DID DURING STREET SCENE. BUT IT WAS JUST MY LUCK THEY PLAYED @ THE SAME EXACT TIME AS SOCIAL D. I HEARD A NASTY RUMOR THAT RFTC'S DRUMMER WAS PLAYING WITH THE OFFSPRING...OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT [img]graemlins/gulp.gif[/img]

JOHN REIS HAS A NEW BAND THAT PLAYED @ THE CASBAH BUT I FORGET THE NAME.

Thanks for the info PIP. That sucks that they went on at the same time. I hate that! I had the same issue at the Hootenanny. After Dave Alvin I had to run over to see Blazing Haley on the other side of the field, then I had tried to get back to the front for RFTC, I was trying to time it where I could see half a set each, but they were off on their timing. Sucked! Thanks to people like Little Richard. He's a great piano player and all, but such an annoying man. His set was way too long. How many times did he say "I got to go"! Go then asshole, I mean did anyone scream "No, stay"? I dont think so!

YEAH UNFORTUANETLY RFTC WAS PLAYING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF DOWNTOWN AND I KNEW I WOULD NEVER MAKE IT BACK IN TIME. SO MY GIRLFRIENDS WENT TO SEE THEM AND I JUST KICKED SOLO @ STREET SCENE BUT THEN I MET A HOTTIE AND WE WATCHED SOCIAL D TOGETHER AND PARTIED ALL NIGHT!!

I STUMBLED ON TO THIS WEBSITE FOR SAN DIEGO BANDS AND IT LINKS EACH MUSICIAN IN EACH BAND TO ALL OTHER BANDS ITS PRETTY INTERESTING... LIKE SINNER SAID JOHN REIS AND THE OTHER RFTC MEMBERS HAVE A LOT OF BANDS GOING. I HAVE ONLY HEARD DRIVE LIKE JEHU PITCHFORK, AND CLICKATAT IKATOWI THOUGH.
