Sounds good about you not actually carrying the widget. Then you can play a decent part in the story after you arrive back and get patched up and still maintain your dignity as a professional hide-and-seek player.
I was thinking more along the lines of modifying the posts to make them fit rather than deleting them outright. Just to be nice. However, I can't think of what to do concerning the knocking the door down thing without leaving some inconsistencies in the posts of more respectable posters. The appearance of the building to them can be corrected, as can the time of day (now dawning, I believe).
You can do some regaining consciousness or whatever if you like now, and we can either assume you were carried back to the New World and everything played out as expected, or people can do a little back-posting to flesh out the details.
I don't know how the teams thing is working out. Gerald thinks he is working for the big official people down south, but is following the orders of Ninja, who isn't being entirely honest about his motives. Chris and his bunch are running their little hovel that is somewhat aligned to the official people that Clarke and Gerald aren't working for. You might be working for the big organised people too, or you might be part of Ninja's bunch. Of course, Gerald doesn't know the difference, so either you or Clarke are going to make the call on that one. Regardless, though, that still leaves the magic widget out in the ashes somewhere that nobody can find it in any short space of time.

No real names on here of actual members, please. That would cause me to do more damage than I have already to your posts. Your Hell posting has been fixed a little, to bring it into line with some other posting and minimising some of its detrimental effects to the existing story.

The things about using the proper names was not directed at you, but just to clarify it for you, let me rephrase.
You can call yourself whatever you like. However, you may not call us whatever you like. Our nicks and derivations thereof are fine, as are insults, though these may hasten your banning if they are taken the wrong way. However, using the real names of other members who have not given their express permission for you to do so is frowned upon. We are being lenient as it is.
I changed several posts in that thread, including one of a long-time poster of ours. Do not feel too singled out. The editing was simply to keep the focus of the thread in line with its previous direction and not spread it too far. If you wish to create a parallel storyline that has whatever sorts of action or whatever you want you two can start your own thread. If it is going to conflict with the events in our thread you can consult us, or better yet, have it in an alternate timeline. That way you can do whatever you like without interfering with other people's business.
Detrimental means something along the lines of negative, or hazardous. Effects that aren't good for the thread.
Please keep in mind that the editing was done for the sole reason of preserving the quality and integrity of the thread. Please post constructively, or post elsewhere.
