ARGGGG...it's official, the Sharks will be playing the very well rested Avalanche! With Tony Granto (Avalanche coach) being an ex-Shark, it will be an interesting reception at the "Tank". I might add, Tony was a CLASS act when he was a Shark player.

Really hope the Flames can pull off a win from Detroit and not get completely shut out! Darryl Sutter (ex-Shark coach) was very well liked in SJ.

GO SHARKS!!
GO FLAMES!!

Meow Kitty , You never know what is going to happen in the playoffs. Trivia for you. Name the other two teams that Tony Granto played for ?

New York Ranges and LA Kings....

Pete, did I read correctly you were from Las Vegas? How did you become a hockey fan?

I'm from Calif...and started ice skating as a kid. Would watch the guys playing hockey at the rink, So naturally thought it was a cool sport.

Also, anyone else who isn't from the traditionally exposed hockey areas, how did you get interested in the sport?

[peteTR25]

Okay everyone I will be giving hockey playoff and stanley cup trivia..

Meow Kitty , I started watching hockey back in 1969. I went to my first game in Oct 71. It was the Boston Bruins vs Los Angeles Kings and was played at the forum in Inglewood Calif. I have enjoyed hockey ever since.
