Well, not to turn around and be the pessimist. But does anyone remember Marisol's book cover? It doesnt look anything like the doll. Her face is too round and her hair is nearly black. Obviously they were going to go with the existing Hispanic face mold which is thinner, but I think they could have done a better job matching them up. But then, Josefinas face in her illustrations looks very little like the doll as well.
Soooo, I dont mean to be the one to rain on everyones parade, but I think we should probably keep that in mind. Before we all end up really disappointed [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Another fixed Jess pic. Booksamillion did a little painting over her hair with RED. So we don't know what color her hair really is. They did a little color play with various parts of the pic so it's hard to fix without a lot of fussing.

However, the fact that her last name is McConnel, which is about as Scottish as you can get, seems to be something most people forgot. Myself included. Just because her last name is one nationality, doesnt mean that she doesnt have other ethnicities in her background though. But it does raise the chance of red hair- [img]wink.gif[/img] thats to you Cami.
One thing that crossed my mind though. If she IS part, lets just be vague and say Asian, and part Scottish, shouldnt the dark hair win out over the red? I know red hair is a recessent gene or something spelled like that, but it still seems odd.

She wouldn't have a asian last name if her mother was asian and her father was irish or scottish or whatever. I think she looks part-asian so that makes sense.

Nope.. not always so.. I am VERY VERY dark brunette.. nearly black with Middle Eastern and Native American in my heritage.. my husband is Irish and all our kids have light brown / dark blonde hair. Our newest son has redish blonbde hair and my 2 1/2 yr old is blonde blonde blonde.
I agree.. I could go on for hours on this one.. it will be a blast to see what she really will look like!!! LOL!
