Eris, I prefer to think of her as Dork Storm, dark implies that she is actually interesting.

Entertainment Weekly has Halle Berry stating pretty definatively that she is *done* with the X-Men movies, so YIPPEEEEEEEE! A unknown would be a vast improvement over the wasteland that is Halle.

And Famke says she is back and excited, Woo Hoo.

And thanks Eris, I was remembering the shuttle thing as being the end, not the beginning but you are right. And sacrificing her they way they did in the movie ties in nicely.

Oh, thank GOD she's gone. Tell me, did they just decide to rewrite Storm's character for no apparent background, or did they write the character around Halle's inability to act?

And just think, with CGI and all, if the new actress is any good, they can just edit the first two movies and replace Halle completely!

Wow... we may well be witnessing a new phenomenon, people... a movie series based on a comic book that gets better with each sequel. Who ever would have thought of such a thing?

OH! Gem! I forgot to mention that I believe the original Pheonix Saga is collected in graphic novel form. Check your local comic book store.

Which reminds me, Asis, is there a comprehensive collection of Claremont's run on X-men available in graphic novel form? I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but my comic collection was stolen absolutely years ago, and well, I'm lazy, so if I can get it back the easy way, I'd prefer it.

Eris, look for the Essential's series from Marvel for cheap collections...they collect about 20 issues at a time. The only drawback is that they're all in black and white...

Yes. She even made the credits, amazingly enough. Did anyone actually sit through the credits? It had the longest list of stunt people I've ever seen.

I didn't sit through the credits this time so I didn't see the list of stunt people. Did they play any cool bloopers at the end?

I'm a big fan of the stunt people, and I always watch the Taurus stunt awards in June to see what the "cream of the crop" is up to. It just facsinates me what some people will do for money.
