Well, I'm back.
Tiberius, that Final Challenge final post was absolutely awesome. If I still gave out kudos points, I think you might have received lots for that.

I haven't been participating much at all of late (yeah, I think it was a little of that life stuff you mentioned), so I will have to do a little revision before I eventually say something incredibly insightful and to the point in the Christmas Thread. After all, I am pretty awesome.

Tiberius, I suppose Axle might take offence to you tresspassing on his property for a hostile takeover of a sex thread now that he's back, but then, I don't really know Axle all that well. Kelly's house is off limits.

Axle, nice to see you again.

I think short albums are acceptable now, as long as they are good. Linkin Park isn't gaining any ground in my books, but I have to make a little room for people like At The Gates.
I finally got around to hearing all of Season For Assault by 8 Foot Sativa, and I like it. I have the album now, and I'm a little let down that they only got the briefest of mentions in the Herald, greatly overshadowed by Blindspott.
Most importantly, Opeth are awesome. Give them a listen. You will like them. Enough said on that matter.

I am going to start a thead very soon, and also participate in the active ones actively. Hopefully.

Gerald, what was so awesome about the last post in Final Challenge? A better one was when Castor says "Well it looks like thats the way its meant to be. ok take this!" or whatever it was.
I thought that was cool. A point of your choice to whoever tells me where that line is from.

Tomorrow I'm going on holiday. I won't be back for a while. I don't think I'll post while I'm gone, so you might be free of me for a while ("hoorah!" I hear you shout).

On the topic of posting in threads, do we really need to think up new ones? We have plenty of half finished ones that could still go somewhere. Sci fi, robbery, the alley 2, Fantasy rp... All of these we could still use. It would save us starting new threads to get bored of.

That post was awesome because what appears to be a completely offhanded, sarcastic comment in another thread created a perfectly legitimate excuse for your character to not die in the big nuclear explosion. Much like Stalin did in that comic I posted a link to on MR a little while back, actually.

Are mp3 players limited in the bitrates of mp3s they can read? On the specifications of a few of them it says things along the lines of "x hours @ 128kbps". Do you think they would work at 192, or 256?
On a similar note, what bitrate you you guys download/encode/whatever at?

Oh yea. I shotgun another person in my debating team. Actually, Third spot would be quite good. But I might not post for a week or so, so yea. But I'm sure it'll take at least that long for you to find three other people who can be stuffed debating.

Tiberius, if we get people enough to fill the three spaces on both teams you will get a leaders' reply anyway. Seeing as you are on the negative team, this would follow directly after the third speaker of your team, which you say you want to be you. This would logically result in double posting, and saying lots of stuff.
We have someone for second negative, I believe, but at least one of the third speaker spots still needs to be filled. (Not pointing at anyone in particular of course, Nora.)
Should we be calling the OOC bits OOC bits? There really isn't much character in the non OOC bits, really.
Before I wrote (and researched, actually) my debate, I knew my little quote, but I thought that schooners were big boats, and I was going to talk about the Titanic, and the immeasurable consequences of incompetent people handling large boats. Like movies based on them.

On another note, haha! I got the first post on this page! (Because I've been trying for one of those for a while).

I will be 3rd Affirmative when it comes around to it, or 2nd Negative if the person you have lined up doesn't show.

Wow! Someone posted. I'm half-way through the second Neg. reply, But I've gotten stuck - to some degree. I will post it sometime, but I'm not sure what to put at this one bit.
I will then need a third negative for my team. I'd choose Seth, or Axle if he's till here. Please Seth or Axle, come help my failing team!

Wait, no I wasn't... What am I talking about? Somebody hurry up and post in something. We have plenty of threads kicking around that ned attention, and i (rather annoyingly) seem to have the last post in too many of them. This can be interpreted in one of two ways. 1) I kill threads, or 2) I don't notice when a thread is dead and just keep posting.

Well, what do you know? I did put something marginally interesting there after all.
