When you want to hush up the problem (i.e., telling someone it's none of their g.d. business), it's not going to make the problem go away. Best to get it out in the open, whether it's on this forum or wherever.

if your kids got older, made a mistake, would you care for their problems to be aired out in public, in front of all these people?

Well keeping it hush hush has definitely fixed it hasn't it?

I seriously wish that one day people would not take high school football to the extent of what they take it. If this was a kid that didn't play sports would it be on the forum? No, and everybody knows that as well.

You may be right, but wonder...if it comes football season, what does everybody do, pretend that they are actually there?

Funny, here a few weeks back some kids had a wreck, names or nicks were mentioned on here and I have no flipping clue if they played a sport or not.

Guess the sport factor isn't the only thing.

If you'd read my earlier post, you'd see why I consider it my business. But here...let me refresh your memory:

I didn't support that either though did I? A car accident vs. a allegeded D.U.I.???? This board is sad, on stuff like this it really is. I hope to God nothing bad ever happens in my life if so I'm sure it will be on the sports forum, but hey at least I'm an adult. I've seen numerous posts on here by adults wanting this to remain on here and very few that actually have said anything in regards to drug or alcohol education/rehab. Names of minors should never be mentioned on a public forum in with regards to the law, period. No names were mentioned but I'm pretty sure by other posts that were made on here people figured out who it was.

Apparently most people know, but at least they've had the courtesy not to reveal names out on the open board.

I do not want to throw the kid under the bus but SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE with the Drug problem in our schools and that is where I am tring to steer this topic.

What are you thoughts on this?
