BTW, I just broke my promise not to post on this topic. Oh well, been thinking too much about Pac-Man I guess.

I agree with biggin as far as the severity of the effects on users...MJ should be legal...and nope, you won't die from it...less dangerous than alcohol if ya ask me..but if testing is doneMJ will be the most commonly found since it stays in the system longer...if they had a way of detecting perscription pills (which is most kids drug of choice nowdays) for a longer period of time than just 1-2 days, that would be much more helpful than one that is only good at finding pot.

keep tabs on everything in your medicine cabinet.

and be sure you know exactly what your pills look like, i used to empty out bottles, replace them with pills that look somewhat similiar, file off aleve or the tylenol numbers.

blood tests are too expensive, but in reality its the only way to detect prescription drug abuse.

i had a problem, a bad problem, and was doing insanse amounts of opiates a day, but i could still pass a piss test, because its extremely easy to pass something from your system if you do it every day.

That's what I'm talkin about..they need to develop a test that can detect prescription meds for a longer amt. of time than 2-3 days.

and the mouthswap tests cannot detect anything swallowed or snorted.

One factor that bothers me to death, and it is related to this.

You can't get a shot at a doctor (which unless someone has mastered the art of withdrawing injected medicine) because people might be just there for adiction, but here have some pills.

I hate it, you go to a doctor now with a virus, the flu, whatever and you're wasting money. I used to go to a doctor when I was sick, dreaded the shot in the butt, but at least started feeling better quick.

Anyhow, off to the fringe of the topic there a few, sorry about that.

We're back, sort of, on the subject of the people who live off society. How many of those terribly disabled folks get their pills and sell them off, make some extra money (maybe thats how so many of them drive new cars a couple times a year...) and worst part of it is, those of us who are out there working are paying (in a roundabout way) people to sit on their butts AND dope up our kids.

Now, I am one of those who sit at home, but not by choice. Uncle Sam gave me permission. The only drug I use is the nitro I keep in my pocket and the beer in the fridge.

The BIG thing is that Marijuana is a gate way drug (No doubt that a much larger % of users of the other Drugs started out hitting MJ than jump straight to whatever)

That being said there are plenty of sites out there that claim 0 MJ deaths that however is OD deaths (and it would be pretty hard to OD on MJ) not the car accidents or the hay guys watch this deaths


Should MJ be legle? I don't know if you were to ask me to come down for or against it I would say it should be illagle and there would have to be a good reason for me to change my mind about it

How has it been confirmed as a "gateway" drug? Are they basing this on facts?
