I said on another board that UT was a mid-level SEC team now and they would stay a mid-level SEC team till they learned how to control the LOS again and grind out games and learn how to play D again.
why did I say this? they got mad at me for saying Ohio State didn't deserve the #1 ranking they have and that the SEC has the best 2 teams in the nation. They had to point out what happend in the Bowl game. Yeah, Penn St. beat a mid-level SEC team. Didn't want to talk about what a 1 loss SEC team did in the National Championship game

Luckily, that doesn't have to happen a lot since UT wins about 3 out of every 4. I'll take that.
I'm talking about the future, Qualls. Next year. Bama's actually kicking their teeth in this year. Nothing else can be said. UT's defense is atrocious. UT's a lot closer to being a good team and being nationally competitive than Bama. UT's worst team in 20 years got beat by Bama's 2nd or 3rd best in that same time by 3 points a couple years ago. UT needs some depth at a few positions and maybe a couple more coaching changes to go in the right direction. At least with Saban their, it looks like it might become a competitive game again.

What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
Each team will be ayear older next year when they meet again.. My guess is Tenn will lose more than Bama. We are mostly a Fr. soph. team. You guys had your run during the probation years. Now sit back and take again like it`s always been. Mark one up for Bama and the series gets further apart.
